Hayden Mill

The Iconic, historically significant Hayden Mill’s repurposing, has long been of interest to the City of Tempe and Developers. These aerial Aero Drone Visions’ Photos taken in advance of a Developer’s expressed interest, demonstrates its central location ideal as a hub to help stimulate a Downtown Tempe Renaissance.

For the City and the developer, these Photos illuminates the Mill’s Architectural location on a Light Rail and trolley route, near the International Sky Harbor Airport and across the Street from Tempe Town Lake with significant shoreline Corporations. Photos show Downtown Tempe, Arizona State University, restaurants and hotels on the other side of the Mill and at the foot of “A” Mountain, providing a cultural and economic runway to the property’s redevelopment.

As imagined the Mill stands ready for updating as a multi-use property with spaces in and around the Mill for venues and amenities like: a history center, office and meeting space, restaurant and bar, Gift Shop, entertainment space, park(s) area with the possibility of an Observation deck.

Since these photos were taken, Aero Drone Visions continues to shoot video and photos for the Developer including video and images of the multilevel Interior of the Mill and Elevator. Additionally, Photos taken helped provide critical building measurements for infrastructure design needed for Construction calculations.
